Star Wars Figure Update: More Saga Legends Details

Rebelscum.com has a very detailed look at each figure in the fan picked Saga Legends line. This list is handy, because you can tell exactly what version of each figure is coming out so you can plan appropriately. Go there, read it, and come back. I can wait.
I have to question, why out of 1,000 figures that fans could choose are many of them figures that were released in the last few years. Hell, some of them were released this last year. Why do we need a repackaged Leia as Boushh? Who the hell wants the C-3PO from Attack of the Clones? What really boils my blood are the Pit Droid 2 packs. If you really need one of these and you’re not five years old, you deserve a kick in the groin regardless if you are a man or a woman.*
Okay, enough with the negativity. Some of these I can’t be more excited about because you get a true:

The list includes such awesome picks like the 501st trooper and the Shock Trooper with much more articulation and better looking sculpts. The Clone Commander from the Evolutions set is also a very good pick as I skipped out on that when it was released. And what Clone collector doesn’t need a reissue of both the regular trooper and the Clone Commanders from Attack of the Clones? If you say you don’t need them, then I spit in your face and wish you good day.
In addition to the Clone Watch Figures, there’s the going to be super hot Dark Trooper. The Biker Scout and Sandtrooper are decent picks as well, since the Biker Scout saves you from having to open the expensive Saga Collection vintage style package and the Sandtrooper is also another figure from the Evolutions three pack.
My non-Storm trooper/Clone figure pick? That would have to be TC-14, the protocol droid from Phantom Menace that was an impossible find back in the day.
Well there you have it. More reasons to start eating dog food to save money for toys next April!
*In an attempt to get more traffic, I’m going controversial. I like it. I’ve got attitude like Poochie.
Toys, toy collecting, Star Wars, Hasbro, Saga Legends, Clone Trooper

No Luke figure and the Dark Trooper one is supposedly the number one fan pick? God, I hate what Star Wars has become.

I like the contraversy! Thanks for stopping by the website.

Gavin: Well… keep in mind that this is a list of figures fans wanted that were already made, not a top figure list of all time. The Dark Trooper should be pretty high up there, because when he was first released he was in limited quanities and scalpers pretty much got them all. I’m not sure who my number one would be… but the Dark Trooper is at least in the top five. That being said it really is an insult that Pit Droids would even get on this list.
Ellis: No problem. Nice site, although I don’t think I’ll be visiting any of those bars any time soon since I’m totally WEST COAST FOR LIFE! Woah, where in the hell did that come from?

The Dark Trooper looks a bit like the shredder from TMNT to me. Not a figure I’d care to have. They look different that what I thought they would.

Keith, you’re wrong!*
*sorry, just creating controversy.

Anyone who disparages the Pit Droids is clearly insane or huffing paint fumes. The pit droids, with their awesome origami bodies and their adorable beeping, are God’s answer to the problems of the universe. We need a bag of a dozen of the things, and I’ll slaughter anyone who says it isn’t so…

Yo go re, thanks for dropping by. I disagree… the pit droids are super lame from a super lame movie.
I will give you this: At least they kicked Jar Jar in the nuts.
December 14th, 2006 at 11:18 pm
YES! One of them kicked Jar-Jar in the crotch! How can you not love that? Just for that bit of audience wish-fulfillment, Pit Droids deserve a star on the Hollywood walk of fame…

I think Crotch socking Jar-Jar is awesome, but not worthy of this line, unless that was the diorama they came in, with additonal hunched over Jar-Jar. New with *Crotch Kicking Action*

I would buy that Keith.
I’ve given in to the Pit droid as far as I can go. If I give them full acceptance, then what’s next? Do I like the various stupid alien designs of the pod racers? If a new Watto comes out will I scream like a schoolgirl in excitement? Will I want to go out and immediately purchase multiple copies Rep Been or Gragra? No sir. That’s how the Communists get you. The next thing you know you’re knee deep in Jar Jar heads in some John Wayne-forsaken factory in the bowels of Red China wondering just how in the hell you got there in the first place. I’ll tell you how Commrade, it was when you started thinking that Pit Droids were cool. To quote Captain Picard, “The line must be drawn here!”

By the way yo go re, I see that you’re the gent that made the custom Daredevil. Way to go on that one!
