State of The Bloggity Blog Address
Hello Toy Bender fans and those of you randomly popping in from search engines. Toy Bender has been around for a few months and is blowing up, so as a responsible Blig Bloggidy Blogger I thought I’d keep you all up to date on all matters Toy Bender thus far.
Now let me get this out of the way first:
I love my cat. My cat is great. Don’t you just love my cat!?

Sorry about that. Since every blogger on Earth has a cat and feels like telling you all about how great it is even though nobody cares about the damn thing except the owner, I thought I had to make a cat post. While I don’t have a cat, I figured a random googled cat would be a nice stand in.
Moving on, if you like what you see here please feel free to subscribe to Toy Bender’s RSS feed. Don’t know what the hell that is? Well, you can set up an account at a site like Bloglines, subscribe to your favorite blogs and website feeds and have a one stop shop for all your updates. Believe me, its a lot easier than going through 50 blogs and websites via your bookmarks every morning.
Once you have your rss feed all set up, be sure to tell a friend about Toy Bender! Spread the word about all the great stuff here. As this blog grows, the more stuff I can offer to you aside from all the free super fun content. I soon hope to have contests with prizes and all that sort of jazz. (It wouldn’t hurt sending a mail to 451 Press telling them to give me stuff to give away to you either… hint… hint)
If you’re new here, be sure to cruise around the archives by either going back in the posts page by page or using my handy dandy catagories. I’ve done a little work on them to help drill down to what you want to look for, so give them a spin. There’s a lot of fun stuff on the shelf right now, especially the Top Ten Weirdest Toy Ads and my Magic Eight Ball article.
On a lesser note: If you’re a regular reader, you might have noticed a new feature on Sundays called Boredom Breaker Sundays. I enjoy sharing videos with you every Sunday, but the name is going to change to be more specific to the post. This leads me to my next item. I’ve decided to host on Sundays (via the magic of YouTube) a hilarious series called War Dawgz that I’ve fallen in love with. Sure, you can just go to YouTube yourself and watch them all, but what’s the fun of that? I’ll still post other interesting toy videos of note as well, so don’t fret.
I need to take a moment and thank both Bat-Blog and Toyrant for linking to me. If you’re a blogger or website master of nerdy stuff and want to get some link loving, let me know and we’ll see what we can do. I’d also like to give a shout out to the Wizard Universe boards. If you like toys or comics, go there and start posting. They’ve got great stuff there and even better people.
Finally and most importantly, I must say that I need your feedback. I love feedback in the form of emails and comments as much as the Hulk loves smashing. If you want to see me cover anything more or less, want to comment on a post, or have an issue with something I’ve written then by all means send some feedback my way. I want to hear what’s on your mind. I don’t want to think of you as hits, I want to know you as people!
That’s about all for my state of the Bloggity Blog Address, but before I go always remember:

Toys, toy collecting, cat, rss, bloglines, feed burner, YouTube, Lego, blogging, blogger, blog

Paul,
President Bush should have had things to say that were this interesting! Have you considered the possibility of writing his speeches?!

Unless he’d like to address the real important issues like dinosaurs being cool, then no.

Maybe your imaginary cat does, but I’ve trained Boots to use the toilet and TP. Hey, he’s my imaginary cat he can do stuff like that.
