TAtTF: Star Wars Micro Machines

And that, my friends, is the world’s fastest talking man and one of his many pitches for Micro Machines. When I was a kid, I never really got into Micro Machines. My cousins went nuts for the things, but I couldn’t really get into the whole owning tiny cars and trucks thing. I think part of the problem was that I enjoyed telling stories in my play time and I really couldn’t do that with miniature cars and trucks. All I could do with them was, “Vrroom Vroom look at me go!” when I was creating epic stories with my 3 3/4ths scale figures that would make J.R.R. Tolkien weep tears bitter jealousy.
I also kind of didn’t like the commercials, because the fast talking thing is kind of annoying.
However, when Micro Machines started making Star Wars toys I did break down and get a few sets. I think this was mostly due to the fact that there was such a drought of Star Wars anything that at that time I got anything Star Wars I could think of. Well, that and tiny Star Wars ships is always much cooler than minuscule cars:
I recently sold most of my Star Wars Micro Machines, but I kept a few of the MOC sets that I have. They’re just too damned cool looking to let go!
Side Note: This post was dedicated to reader “Toot Farts” that requested something about Micro Machines. I hope you’re happy.
Side, Side Note: I can’t believe I dedicated anything to someone going by the name of “Toot Farts.”

Star Wars micro machines were one of my all time favorite toys.

Look at the time on that Star Wars commercial. Is that one of the shortest toy commercials ever produced?

My Dad keeps swearing up and down he is going to buy some of those micro machines and then he forgets. So I can safely assume they’re probably gone and I’ll have to hear him complain about it. lol, sigh.

Esbat, you means the ones I was selling? Yeah, most of the sets are gone, but I do have a few things left. Like sets of dudes and a couple of transforming head playset things.

The fact that this article happened makes Toot Farts very happy.
Silly comments aside, it is much appreciated!
