The Newest G.I. Joe Vehicle Line Up
The G.I. Joe Club recently revealed the next wave of vehicles due out in the G.I. Joe line and it’s a pretty decent mix for Joe fans.
Arctic H.I.S.S.
Man, they are really whipping out those H.I.S.S. tanks in a frenzy aren’t they? I haven’t bought a single one yet, due to the fact I bought one during the 2000 re-release and haven’t felt the need to buy multiples. This arctic H.I.S.S. is the first of the tanks that I’ve actually contemplated about getting, mostly because its different enough to me to make it worthwhile. Hasbro, if you’re reading this, please make a H.I.S.S. that also has troop carrying capacity in the back like the H.I.S.S. II. The more figures I can cram onto a vehicle the better.
Stinger
The Stinger is simply awesome and like the H.I.S.S. I had purchased one during the early 2000 re-releases. I kept that one in the box and it’s high time I got one to open. I always enjoyed the look of the Sting over the G.I. Joe Vamp. It just has more class.
F.L.A.K. with C.L.A.W.
Now the F.L.A.K. is an interesting set, namely because it will bring us an old non-vehicle G.I. Joe toy that hasn’t been seen in some time. The set is most notable for me for containing Outback, the Joe with the word, “Survival” written on his t-shirt. I’m not sure if I want to get this one, but I’m for damn sure wanting an Outback. Hopefully they’ll release him in a comic pack or something. The set also comes with one of the new C.L.A.W.s, this time painted red and looking a bit better than the craptastic white one. At least it comes with four missiles this time. There’s also a Stratoviper who is looking fairly boss.

As I said in your last GI Joe post, I’m so stoked for Outback. Cool character, great figure for a specific mod, and the FLAK is pretty neat. I definitely want the Arctic HISS too, to go with my ever growing collection of cold wear guys.

I love how the Joes have exactly one dude to man their flak cannons.
Oh, wait. There’s just one flak cannon. Hope Cobra doesn’t attack with more than one plane or anything.

Definitely need me a stinger….anyone know the name of the black cobra helicopter with the red gun in the front from the original vehicles?

That was the F.A.N.G. helicopter. And it’s being rereleased as well.
These all look great. But I’ll never buy them. Why? Because I’ll never find them.
