The Shadow Scout Trooper
One particularly cool San Diego Comic-Con exclusive (which I missed in my Comic-con exclusives update) is the Shadow Scout Trooper.
It follows the same pattern established with the “Black Hole” Stormtrooper, basically paint a figure all black and people will want it. The Shadow Scout Trooper is now available for pre-order on Star Wars Toy Shop.com, but the catch is that you must physically pick it up at the convention. The other catch is that it has a ridiciulous convention exclusive price of twenty five bucks. The Biker Scout and Speeder combo look damn pretty, but it’s high price point and the fact that it’s the same speeder bike they’ve been reusing for over twenty years is holding me back from going nuts for this thing.

They had them online for a bit, because they had a ton of them left over from the show. Damn, next year I should make a shopping list for the regular commenters that can’t make it to the con.
