There’s a New TIE on the Radar
It’s not very often that I get to report on Star Wars vehicle news with Hasbro being content to mostly rerelease the same damn Jedi ships ad-nausium. That’s why I’m happy to have at least some cool news. For those of you who missed out a few years ago on getting yourself a nifty TIE Interceptor, you’ll get another crack at it in Toys R Us stores or by pre-ordering through Toys R Us.com.
This version of the fighter differs from the one released way back in 2001 by having some markings to indicate the pilot is an ace. It looks like the TIE pilot that comes with the fighter will also sport the ace markings. Sorry, there aren’t any images of this puppy available at the moment.
The price for the Interceptor is $34. 99 and the expected release date is 7/15/2007.
