This Month In Toyfare: January 2007

After yesterday’s post about the Jesus dolls I hope I haven’t scared away all of my large right wing conservative religious fanbase ala the Dixie Chicks! For anyone who’s left, its time to crack open your copy of January Toyfare and play along!
Ad opposite Page 4: Airborne Clone Trooper. This is what dreams are made out of, folks.
Page 12: If you read my post about the build-a-blob Marvel Legend figure and thought the idea was gross then, just look at the picture here. Gah, it makes me want to go to the gym right now. You can practically smell the fat on this page.
Page 14: I might need a moment alone here. We get pictures of the upcoming Star Wars Airbore Trooper and Galactic Marine clones. Not only that, be we also get a good look at the reissued “McQuarrie” Stormtrooper. Guess I’ll have to double my toy hunt searches in January.
Page 16: A gold bikini Princess Leia and a Han Solo on a Tauntaun statues? I’m almost on toy overload right now.
Pages 38-39: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans get another look at the upcoming new movie style turtles. I like the idea that Michaelangelo poses as a fake turtle to make ends meet. Maybe that’s how they can afford all those damn pizzas.
Pages 46-47: Great, hot half-naked statues. Like I didn’t already have enough problems with women.
Page 48: The Avenging Narhal that impales little animals. Strange. Strange indeed.
Pages 52-60: Back to toy heaven, this time with tons of great drool inducing Transformers pics.
Nothing beats that Devistator reissue on the first page, though. He looks like he could break out of the magazine and devistate your ass.
Pages 62-63: Nice filler guys. Still, cool picture of the Marvel Legends figures lounging around the pool.
Pages 64-73: This is an awesome gift guide. I can’t really find anything here that I wouldn’t want for Christmas. Hint… Hint… I mean, a life-size wearable Iron Man helmet? An almost life-size Matrix of power? A real wearable Princess Leia style gold metal bikini?? (Um, for the lady, of course)
Pages 74-75: Great retrospective on the Ninja Turtles for those who need to catch up on some Turtle history before the new film comes out.
Pages 84-91: A rather dissapointing Twisted Toyfare Theater in an otherwise great issue. Oh well, at least it was Star Wars themed.
Well, that about wraps it up until next month and think of me when you’re doing your Christmas shopping.

I’m back
“Star Wars Airbore Trooper and Galactic Marine clones. Not only that, be we also get a good look at the reissued “McQuarrieâ€? Stormtrooper.”
Good googamooga. I gotta get me some.
I got the man child three clone trooper variations for X-mas. I figured he needed a well rounded militia for the battles he will be having with his birthday schwag.
Really, id there anything cooler that storm/clone troopers? If I could find a 12′ Commander Cody, I’d be well pleased.

Oh man, you are so right. If it was possible, I’d write this whole blog about clone troopers.
I’ve got so many clones open that I pretty much have an army. Does the man child need a Commander Gree? heh

The man child can always do with a new clone commander, otherwise who who lead the troops and execute route…er plan 66. I’ve been impressed with the variants, I think they finaly figured out which characters the kid liked most, sprinkle it with a few Jedi and you have a toy line.
