To Resist it is Useless. It is Useless to Resist It.

I feel like I’m one of the five people that has played Resistance 2 for the PS3. Yeah, I know there’s more gamers out there that have played it, but compared to a game series like Halo or Gears of War it certainly doesn’t have the word of mouth or love that those games get. I happened to like it a lot. Sure there were things I didn’t like, so it really doesn’t rank among my beloved Halo, but I liked it nonetheless. Did I like it enough to want action figures based on it though? I’m not so sure.
DC Direct has a line of Resistance 2 figures coming out just in time for… uh the several month anniversary of it’s launch? I’m not so sure as to the timing, but they look fairly impressive. A figure was included with my copy of the game and it certainly didn’t match the quality that these ones are sporting.

And damn it, now I have Comfort Eagle stuck in my head.

The PS3 is what I have dubbed The Great Satan.
…
Sadly, I’m probably buying a Wii this year now that zombie game is out for it. I don’t need Left 4 Dead when I got sandbox zombie killing to do.

I think Hale’s fae looks a bit screwy. That bums me out, but otherwise these are rad. (I probably would have liked yellow eyes too…)

I love R2. I haven’t gotten into the online stuff as much as the first one but I liked the story a lot. I’d buy the figures if I found them on clearance somewhere, lol.

Speaking of playing it online, ugh. Me and my friend tried getting a game of co-op going for at least fifteen minutes before we figured out how to get into a private room with just us. We are both gamers with a lot of experience with gaming, so it wasn’t us being dumb. It’s needlessly difficult and it just proves that Live is way better at online gaming.

And now you know why DC could afford the license…
