Toy Pics to Make You Drool
Hey folks, I’m extremely tired today. The effects of flying, learning, drinking, and driving three hours home for the weekend have taken their toll on me. I won’t leave you hanging and will give you an update. I think this proves how much I love you!
The pics are from the same convention I snapped the previous Lego display pics, which was a Star Wars Celebration convention. I’m not sure which one it was right now, but then again I can barely keep my eyes open at the moment. By coincidence, this set prominently features an Imperial Shuttle in a scene that didn’t take place in Return of the Jedi as Luke is being brought on board Vader’s craft. Cool hey?
On the ground, the Ewoks are fighting their epic battle. While it may not be technically accurate as far as timing, this is one kick ass scene. I also have to apologize as I don’t think these pics really capture the whole diorama. I never thought I’d have a use for these things, oh well there’s always next time.

Great pictures! I loved them for the Star Wars! My fiancee loved them for the Legos! Hope you’re “recovered” soon.

Great pics, even though I’m not a huge Star Wars fan. Hey can you do a segment on the new Lost collectible toys, or figures, I’m not sure of the proper usage. I’m not fluent in toy-inese.
Aaron.

Well, as much as I’d like to make you happy and cover the Lost figures, I’ve got to admit that I have nothing to say about them. They look like unmovable statues of people in regular clothes. If you want a fat guy standing there, the Lost series has you covered.
Wait, maybe I just did my Lost figure update here. Damnit!

Sweet. I’m amazed what a person can do using their imagination and a box full of swedish plastic.

I think these displays were made by a model building team at lego. These guys have the sweet ass job of planning and building these awesome displays. How cool would it be to have access to all of Legos pieces to build whatever you wanted?
