Wondercon Coverage: Round Two
Here we are again with the rest of the Wondercon 2009 coverage!
Wondercon Pictures:

Since I’m both lazy and I have a crappy computer, I don’t have many interesting pictures to share. However, Savage of Old Man Musings was a picture taking maniac. You can check out his photos on Flickr here. Great White Snark is also showing off his pics and you can see some of them here with more to come in the future.
Meeting Legends: Speaking of Savage and GWS, I met both of them at Wondercon at different times. Both of them were consumed by the crowds of hideous nerds. My condolences go out to their families.
Wonder Woman Animated Feature: We got to see the premier of the Wonder Woman animated feature that is coming out this week on DVD and Blu-Ray. It was so awesome that I hit second puberty while watching it. See it, buy it, and love it.
Sam and Max: I talked to the people at the Telltale games booth hoping they’d accidentally tell me the street date of Sam and Max for Xbox Live. They didn’t, but the PR lady gave me her card and now I’m totally shilling for that game now. I love Sam and Max. Love them!
Cyborg Mice:

There was this really nice guy with an Xbox Live game he made called Cyborg Mice. I don’t know if I’ll ever buy the game, but I really dug was the design for the mouse, so I bought a shirt.
Batman the Brave and the Bold Gushing: I went to a panel that at first seemed interesting, but then turned into a living nightmare due to audience derailment. However, one of the people on the panel was Steve Melching who writes for both animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Brave and the Bold. The only thing that got me through that panel was the goal of going up to Mr. Melching when it was over to gush over Brave and the Bold. When it did finally end, me and some older dude went up to him and assaulted him with all kinds of gushing. He was cool with it and talked to us for a little bit about about the show. He even dropped a hint that a certain famous chimpanzee in the DC universe might make an appearance. Sweet.
Mark Hamil is a Jerk: Why? Simple. He charges a hundred fucking dollars for an autograph.

Re: Mark Hamill: And then he charges $90 for the second autograph, then jacks the price back up to $100 for the third autograph.
So the only bigger asshole than Mark Hamill is the guy who paid for three of Mark Hamill’s autographs.

Batman: Brave and the Bold is my favorite currently-running TV show. It is just the best. Aquaman rules.

Ah, so you did see Mr. Skywalker. Yeah. Clearly he realizes his signature is translated directly into currency via eBay nowadays. Doesn’t he get royalties from the Luke figures or something?
I love Sam & Max too…the wife and I have played both games on PC. What I want to know is, when does the third season hit?
I’m definitely getting that Wonder Woman DVD. Looking forward to the Green Lantern one, too.

For 100 bucks he’s autographing my penis.

So he’s an autograph scalper? Weird.
I’d charge $100 per autograph, if I could, so maybe I shouldn’t talk…
