Write A Twisted Toy Theater and Win Stuff!

If you’re a fan of Twisted ToyFare Theater and you think you can do just as good of a job (or better) at writing Twisted ToyFare Theater, then the king of toy magazines has a challenge for you. Over on the Wizard Universe website, they’ve got a contest for you to make your own Twisted ToyFare Theater.
The way you create the strip is by taking some different photos of heads and backgrounds (with the bodies in them), combining them, then slapping some funny arse dialogue inside provided speech bubbles. You don’t have to worry about having fantastic Photoshop skills for this one, they’re looking more for teh funny and not a work of visual art.
There are several levels of prizes, with the grand prize being pretty sweet:
GRAND PRIZE
One lucky/funny winner will receive a prize package worth at least $1000 which will include every single thing we picked up at the International Toy Fair—featuring a JAKKS Pacific exclusive 1 of 100 Rowdy Roddy Piper figure worth over $300!
I’m not a huge wrestling guy, but the prospect of getting all the free junk they received at the New York Toy Fair is tantilzing. The second and third prize offerings aren’t too shabby either, so get to work people! The final entry date is 12:01am (EST) on Monday, May 14, 2007.
If you don’t think you are up to the challenge, then I suggest following this link to the forums and reading all the strips that people are submitting. There’s some great ones in there with jokes I’d never think of. Let’s face it, I’m only funny because I’m constantly ripping off Chris’s Invincible Super Blog.
And now for your weekly dose of uppercut action!*

toy, toy collecting, ToyFare, Contest
*I realize that the only people that will fully understand that joke are me, Chris Sims if he follows the link back, and his legions of adoring fans that don’t read my blog. Sigh.
